Last Saturday, 28-08-2021, the "Ausbildungs- und Studienbörse" (engl. training and study fair) of the Realschule St. Ursula took place here in Dorsten. After it could nly be visited digitally last year due to the Corona crisis, it took place regularly on site again this year. As a cooperation partner of the school, we were of course also represented.
Our mission?
To make the career aspiration "Something with computers" a reality. For this purpose, our employees Marcel Beeck and Julian Maas were ready to inform the visitors about the following professions:
IT specialist for application development
Management assistant for office management
Management assistant for digitalization management
In our luggage we had prepared a quiz for the pupils with which they could test their IT knowledge as well as the Microsoft Turtle, an app for Coding for Kids. This demonstrated a playful introduction to the world of programming.
The fact that professions in IT are becoming more and more important was shown by the strong interest and the crowds at our information stand. We were also pleased about the visit of some students who have already completed their internship with us.
One or the other also directly took the chance for an internship and will soon get to know us, the company and the job profiles a little better.
We enjoyed answering your questions and giving you some good suggestions and recommendations for the future.
We are already looking forward to the next fair and our new interns.
