At the end of the year, Deutsche Post will discontinue the operation of the previous API interface. Letter dispatch via this interface will be no longer possible as of 01-01-2020!
Deutsche post is continuously working to offer customers a user-friendly, future-proof product offering with the highest quality and security standards. The goal is to enable fast and easy use of the E-POST product portfolio. As part of the further development of the products, it was therefore necessary to raise the E-POSTBUINESS API to a new technological basis.
With the new E-POSTBUSINESS API, Deutsche Post will offer you the following improvements in the future:
Extended range of functions in hybrid letter dispatch
Simplified client activation
Performant and scalable technology
The focus of BELWARE GmbH is and remains the development of smart interfaces and add-ons to third-party products from Dynamics 365 Business Central and Dynamics NAV. Thus, we can already inform you today that we will remain an E-Post partner and have already extended our E-Post module for you with the new E-Post API for a seamless transition.
The Connector NAV is available for the new E-Post API in the following versions:
Dynamics 365 Business Central Version 13 and 14 (Windows- & Web-Client) in C/AL
Dynamics NAV 2018 – 2013 R2
from Dynamics 365 Business Central on Prem and SaaS as APP/Extension
Thus, all the usual functionalities of a letter mail, such as sending abroad or as registered mail from 365 Business Central / NAV are now available. A new and detailed status feedback of your sent letters can be found at the respective process or in the archive again.
